The Red Hands Series began from a single painting in 2017. It has expanded into an extensive series of figurative works that explore the modern psychological condition of humanity. The people depicted come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, but they share the same set of distorted red hands.

The hands represent what we carry deep within our subconscious. Guilt, jealousy, shame, fear, regret, anger, anxiety. These lurk within our subconscious and begin to manifest in the physical realm.

The artworks range in size from 16 x 20 in to 36 x 48 in.

This series is currently on display at Denver Art Society, located at 734 Santa Fe Drive in Denver, CO.
